The King has retained his throne, with Clint Gutherson staying loyal to the Eels.

“I don’t think there ever was [an ultimatum from Parramatta], to be honest. I spoke to Sam [Ayoub, manager] when I heard of it and he said there wasn’t,” Gutherson told media on Wednesday.
“I love the club and our loyal fans, I love playing the game and I love my teammates so I’m very happy I’m staying,” he said in a club statement.
