Biography

The no nonsense Peats made his first grade debut in 2011 for the Rabbitohs. The La Perouse junior and son of former Bulldogs hooker Geordie, captained the Bunnies 2010 NYC team all the way to the Grand Final. In April 2011, Nathan made his NRL debut for the Rabbitohs against Manly at Bluetongue Stadium. He was then selected for the Indigenous All Stars in seasons 2012 and 2013, whilst also representing City Origin in 2013. In June that year, he signed a three-year deal with the Eels starting from the 2014 season. In 2016, the final year of his playing contract with Parramatta, amidst all the controversy and turmoil surrounding the Club, Nathan made a mid-season switch to the Titans where he made an instant impact. With a few additional recruits prior to June 30, the Titans finished in the Top 8 during a season in which they were favourites to take out the wooden spoon. Nathan has become a key contributor to a young Titans’ side and returned to representative football with selection in the 2017 Indigenous All Stars and now his Origin debut.
