Michael is a talented hooker who is very quickly establishing himself as one of the game’s elite future prospects. He is earmarked as a future NSW and Australian representative. He possesses the attacking prowess of Robbie Farah, and the game management skills of Cameron Smith. Only 23 years of age, the Yarrawarra product has already represented NSW at both the U18’s and U20’s levels, as well as being named at hooker for the 2012 and 2013 NYC Teams of the Year. Michael was also selected for the Junior Kangaroos those same years. In 2014 Michael made his highly anticipated NRL debut for Cronulla and went on to play a total of 15 games. His ability and potential was immediately recognised by the Rugby League community as he was selected for City Origin in his maiden NRL season. Michael has been the Bulldogs first choice hooker since his move to the Club in 2015, at only 22 years of age.
