Queensland will target Blues half Mitchell Pearce’s “mental scars” when he kits up for NSW for the first time since 2017, says Maroons great Johnathan Thurston [Sam Ayoub‘s client].
Wide World of Sports’ George Vlotis tells this story,
“There’s obviously a lot of mental scars there from those years no doubt,” Thurston told Macca’s Thursday Night Golden Point.
“He’ll come in with a lot of confidence and I don’t think he’s had that in the past, no doubt he’ll be better.”
