Rugby league champion Johnathan Thurston racks up another honour

Sam Ayoub‘s client A young Johnathan Thurston was considered too skinny, too slow and too wild to play professional rugby league.

Today he is heralded as one of the greatest players the game has ever seen. And he has been made a Member of the Order of Australia for his service to rugby league and position as a role model.

In the article written by Lydia Lynch on Brisbane Times, JT said,

“In rugby league, players come and go. I want to make sure my culture is around for thousands of years like it has been,” he said when he accepted the Human Rights Medal.
