Although born in Newcastle, Mosese played his junior rugby league for the Concord Burwood Wolves in Sydney. He was a highly touted prospect coming up through the Balmain Tigers/Wests Tigers junior systems. He represented the NSW Combined High Schools U15’s before making his then Toyota Cup debut in 2008 for the Wests Tigers, at only 16 years old. After 6 NYC games for the Tigers, Pangai signed with the North Queensland Cowboys, where he went on to play a total of 73 NYC games for the Club between 2009 and 2011, whilst attending Ignatius Park College. Mosese was rewarded for a great 2011 season gaining for the Junior Kangaroos and being elevated to the North Queensland Cowboys first grade squad for the 2012 pre-season. He made his NRL debut in Round 1 against the Titans and in August of the same year, signed a two-year deal to join the Panthers. He moved back to the Tigers in June 2013 and spent two seasons playing NSW Cup before being selected for Tonga to play the Cook Islands in 2015 for a 2017 World Cup qualifying match. Mosese moved up north to sign with the Townsville Blackhawks at the start of 2016 and had an outstanding year with the Club where he was selected for Tonga in May to play Samoa in the Polynesian Cup. Mosese becomes the second Pangai to sign with the Broncos and will look to a strong pre-season to cement his spot in the teams strike backline.
