Biography

A perennial name in the NSW Origin and Australian Test sides, the NZ born Tamou is widely regarded as one of the best Props in the NRL. Making his debut back in 2009 with the North Queensland Cowboys after a move up north from the Roosters, James played 170 first grade games for the North Queensland Cowboys and has represented his State and Country 12 and 14 times, respectively. He enjoyed a highly successful 8 seasons with the Cowboys and endeared himself to the Townsville faithful. The decision for James to move back down to Sydney to sign with the Panthers, was not made lightly. His association with the Cowboys and their fans is well known, however his decision came down to what was best for his family. He is now looking forward to the next 4 seasons at the Panthers, a Club who have a young nucleus of very talented players. James will slot into an already formidable Panthers pack and will be looking to lead from the front at his new Club.
